Boris Yelstin Dies at Age 76
Boris Yeltsin died Monday afternoon due to heart failure at the age of 76. The charismatic alcoholic was the first democratically elected president of Russia in 1991. Yeltsin was credited for dissolving a coup attempt to take down Soviet President Mikhail Gorbachev. Yeltsin's political career will certainly be remembered as a controversial time in Russia's history. RIP.
