Clinton and Obama Fight For Black Voters

Hillary and Obama will be fighting this weekend to gain support from the black voters. Both will be in Selma, Alabama on Sunday observing the 42nd anniversary of a civil rights march. It's hard to say who will gain more support of the black constituents, a candidate who is half African American or the spouse of the first black president (Old Willy was given this title by Toni Morrison). Both have an advantage for this weekends political meet and greet. Obama has the pleasure of giving the keynote address at a local church, which will undoubtedly give him some attention by local and perhaps national media. However, Bill Clinton is being inducted in the National Voting Rights Hall of Fame. Anytime Bill is in the media is bound to be good for Hillary as well. Hillary couldn't ask for a better spokesperson. The question now is are you sick of having Clinton and Bush's running our country? Is it time to have fresh meat? If so, then Obama might be the best choice. Experts say Obama doesn't have enough experience, yet this might be his greatest asset by not having the pleasure of being engulfed in the Washington hoopla. It seems the idea of bringing new perspective into the White House is always appealing to voters. This is why someone from Texas is now running the show.

Clinton on Iraq

Check out her thoughts on Iraq. She doesn't exactly agree with the President. What do you think, should we stay in Iraq or pull out? Listen to Clinton's thoughts and state your opinion.

Hillary Comments On Tom Dropping Out Of The Race

By reading the statement below that Hillary made in regards to Tom Vilsack it somewhat sounds like he might be a VP candidate. However, other VP rumors are Tom Daschle, and Bill Richardson (even though he is a presidential candidate at the moment). I wonder if Al Gore would run for the VP spot again since his popularity has sky rocketed thanks to his movie? Check out Hillary's statement in regards to Tom dropping out of the race due to the money factor.

Clinton Statement on Vilsack Withdrawal
Following is a statement released today by Senator Hillary Clinton:

"I have been proud to work with Tom Vilsack for years on the challenges facing our country, and I have a deep admiration for both Tom and Christie.

"Tom has made Iowa a leader in renewable energy and created thousands of jobs as one of America's great governors. We share a passion for protecting America's young people through expanded health care options, early childhood education initiatives and opening the doors to higher education to every American.

"I know he will continue to contribute to the dialogue about how to move America forward."

Tom Vilsack Is Out

Big money has already killed a presidential hopeful. This comes as now surprise considering the big dogs are banking more mucho dinero than previous campaigns. Sadly, the root of all happiness is also the killer of all happiness. Yep you got it, money. Tom Vilsack, former Gov. of Iowa withdrew his bid for the White House on Friday. I highly doubt Tom would have won the Democratic primary, however, I hate to see the competition dwindle because of financial expenses this early in the race. The one thing we can learn from this is that money wins elections and that it doesn't matter if you are a horrible politician with no insight on how to lead a country as long as you have a lot of green in your pocket.

2004 election Bush spent $419 million.
